This may have been the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

The Kreed$

Three and a half years ago some friends and I went camping in Eastern Washington. There was one night there that was one of my favorite nights of my whole entire life. We stayed up all night singing our favorite songs around the campfire. By the end there was just tiny embers, but we still kept singing. It was there where I admitted to loving the band Creed when I was in like 5th and 6th grade. I then began to sing there songs and it turned out that other people knew the words and I wasn't as alone as I once thought I was. It was a very important moment in my life because I really learned that I need to be ME. I know it sounds dumb like, oh Bryce you found out who you were by singing Creed? And to a point I did. It helped me know that I could be me and people will still love me. Anyways, that night was such a special night to me.

We came back to Rexburg and that "kid who likes Creed" followed me. At different hang outs we would reminisce about that camp fire night and I would again start singing Creed. So three years ago my man Shane and I sang and played "With Arms Wide Open" at an open mic. It was awesome. Shane learned the piano part in like 3 seconds and it was really fun.

Since then I have always wanted to do it again. This last weekend we were in the hot tub and the idea came up again. So my boys Sean and Kyed learned the guitar parts and we got our friend Alex to play the drums with us. We practiced a few times and played at an open mic at a venue here in Rexburg.

This whole Creed thing has really been fun. Yesterday I was able to check off a bucket list item of playing on a stage with a band. Here's the video, sorry my voice is the worst part. But I hope you find your Creed. Find whatever it is that allows you to be you, even if it is sort of a joke like this sort of it (I'm still not sure if I still like them or not). Anways, enjoy!

Also, what do you think about the gold chain? I'm thinking about continuing to wear that. Let me know what you think.

Movember

The month of November is almost over. This year I fully participated in the Movember movement. It was wonderful to see fellow Mo brothers and being able to embrace them. Most of the time it was a slight head nod or if I was lucky, a gentlemen's wink. Whatever it has been, it has been nice to know that there are others out there Mo'ing around. I was worried at the beginning of the month. You see my stash doesn't grow very thick and it is very blonde. A good friend of mine introduced me to Just for Men and people were then able to tell that I was growing a mustache and didn't think that I forgot to shave. Today is the last day of Movember. I am torn. Part of me wants to continue growing it out to have that special Mo bond, but the other part wants my wife to fully love me again. This is tough. Tomorrow will be a trial. Wish me luck.

IT'S OUT!

It's gone. Out of me. I finally passed one of my stones. For the past four months I've had a constant pain and irritation and now it's gone. It was one of the best feelings of my life (actually it was by far the most pain I've been in my life) but when it came out it felt so good. I hope no one ever has to go through kidney stones. I still have one more that is moving very slow. I hope it comes out a little smoother than this one. Here's a pic of the size of it.

Photos called Life

Wear the adventure

I'm part of an IBC company this year. It's a group of classes where we are put into groups, have different roles, and run a company. Our company is 43 Degrees North. We make paracord products. I made an ad last night, thought I'd share it.

Be WILD

No matter what you are doing, be wild. Find the wild in you and let it come out. We've all got wild in us. I am convinced of that. Let that wild come out. Be WILD!

Just a few pics

Here are a few pics. They are all random. Just some I have taken over the past couple of months.

This is my brother Preston. I feel like this picture says a lot about who he is. We went fishing in September in the Puget Sound and got this shot.

The Tacoma Narrows Bridges

The man Mike himself. This is my dad. I feel like that hat says a lot about who he is. Love him and I am grateful each day for the lessons he has taught me.

This is the newest member of the Woodhouse family, little baby Lucy. She is my brothers baby. She was born in September and is too cute.

This is a shot I took for one of my classes. We are running a business on campus and I did a photo shoot for our advertising campaign we are running.

This is my boy Shane. He is the smartest person I know. I really like this shot because it really shows some of the true beauty that is Idaho.

Kidney Stones

Welp, I've got kidney stones. This has been four in the past two months. They are killing me. I currently have two right now that have passed down into my bladder but who get out. It is a constant pain and irritation  I feel bad because I've been a bit snippy lately, but I've been in pain for quit some time now. Anyways, I saw this meme and thought it was perfect because it feels like someone is doing this to my kidney stones. Hope you enjoy.

Desert Noises

From the first time I heard these guys I knew I would have a deep appreciation for what they do. Their music rocks my body. These guys are awesome. They've got this cool walking through the desert and all of a sudden I see this beautiful oasis type sound. It's a huge sound that hits my body like a ton of bricks every time I see them live. These guys are cool. Their music is upbeat and I'm already counting down until I can see them play again. Check out the band Desert Noises.

Fishin' Friday

I love fishing. Even if I go out and don't catch something, I still love being outside and in the water. Growing up my dad would take me fishing all the time. He knew it was important to spend quality time together and fishing was his way of spending time with me. A few years ago he bought a boat and named her "Fishin' Boat" and is catching the crap out of the fish up in the PNW. He was visiting my wife and I here a few weeks ago and we were able to catch up and fish the waters around here. I'm grateful for a man who taught me how to tie on a lure and more importantly that time we had together fishing. It's time that is very precious to me. Hope this Friday you do what you love. For me, I'll be fishing.

This is a pond that is just down the road from us.

A pic of my dad fishing. I owe everything I know about fishing to this man.

The Snake River that weaves in and out all over the place here.

Oh, and this is my DANG cute wife catching her first fish ever!

Supertramp

I found this YouTube page last year and love watching his videos. Devin Supertramp's videos are all about enjoying life. All of his videos are bright and full of people with energy. I love that his name is Supertramp. I aspire to be a Supertramp and one day be free and wild! He's got some great videos so go check him out.

Dalai Lama

I follow the Dalai Lama on twitter and love what he has to say. I believe he is a man who consistently looks to create good in this world. Anyways, yesterday he tweeted a tight thought which was,   "I have made a commitment to work until I die to raise awareness that the source of happiness, warm-heartedness, lies within us." I feel like it's really easy to blame our problems on other people or say it isn't fair because of the hand we've been dealt. Life is what YOU make it. Not what someone else gives you. You make your life a happy one. Sir Dalai Lama, you were right on in saying that.

The Lighter Side

I wanted this part of my website to be the lighter side of me. What I find to be inspiring, full of life, or just funny. I am a lover of life and want to show you how I live it. Feel free to share!
